Notes for installation of outdoor lamps in lighting project
1. Grounding: the lamp must be well connected and grounded according to the requirements of the instruction, and the ungrounded class I lamp becomes an approximate class 0 lamp;
2. Allowable voltage fluctuations: HCI ceramic metal halide lamp, HQI quartz metal halide lamp and NAV high pressure sodium lamp shall not exceed the range of +/-5% in a short time, and the allowable fluctuation range of +/-3% in a long time. Large voltage changes will shorten the life of the lamp and cause color deviation.
3, the use of light sources: frequent switching will shorten the life of the lamp;
4, ballast: the distance between the light source and the ballast is limited, generally not more than 3 meters;
5. Starting current: the starting current of the lamp can be up to 2 times of the working current depending on the ballasts of HCI, HQI and NAV.
6. Luminous flux: the parameters of the light source are relatively stable between 100 and 300 hours. The ignition point of T type and TS type is horizontal, while E type is vertical.
7. Color deviation: for all HQI and HCI metal halide lamps, there may be color deviation between the lamps. This color deviation is due to the influence of external factors such as power supply voltage, ballast and lamp design.
Internal cause: the consistency of arc tube (mercury charge, electrode gap, volume, current situation and size, etc.) determines the consistency of lamp power and cold point temperature, which all affect the density of halide, thus determining the consistency of lamp related color temperature.
At present, the foreign advanced level, the relevant color temperature tolerance of the same batch of light source factory can be controlled at +/ -100k, while the domestic advanced level is at +/ -300k. For a 3000K metal halide lamp, this 600K difference in color temperature is easily detectable to the naked eye. External cause: the parameters of different ignition point positions can be different from 600K, power supply voltage, supporting capacitance, relevant industry standards, rated power less than 400W, ballast adjustment rate must be less than 10%;
Number 8, installation: on the same branch of parallel light suggest no more than 4, in order to reduce the change of the voltage, phase with different voltage can cause the problem of light colour cast, such as customers have special request for illumination and color rendering, advising clients to choose HCI ceramic metal halide light source, form a complete set of constant power metal halide lamp electronic ballast, the price is more expensive;
9, buried lamp installation matters: buried lamp installation of embedded tub first, when installing a light source, must use toughened glass good compaction waterproof silicone, diagonal evenly tighten the screw, can install in the driveway of the plaza, the regular production of buried lights reserved for HID class 0.5 meters of the three core cables, wiring outside with a waterproof box, waterproof IP67 level requirements, the company factory is not equipped with waterproof box (to another), buried lamp must have at least 20 cm filter layer, the best and drain ditch;
10, underwater lamp installation matters: the regular production of underwater lamp reserved 1 meter three core cable, wiring outside with a waterproof box, IP68 waterproofing of requirements, the company factory is not equipped with waterproof box (to another), to be on the safe side, underwater lamp is generally need transformer, transformer waterproof class is IP44, so the underwater lamp electric shock proof for class III grade, transformer must be installed in the pond shore, cannot install the underwater;
11, (cast) light installation matters: pan (cast) light when installing a light source, toughened glass good compaction waterproof silicone, floodlight, Angle can be adjusted according to the lighting design requirements, all generic (cast) light lights, buried lights and wall lamp, can not be block content covers, the distance on the product label has noted, all lamps and lanterns is not installed in the fuel surface (fuel surface refers to the 130 degrees can burn objects).
12, light source installation: HID light source and electrical appliances must be matched, must be well installed in the lamp holder, not free hand light source installation;
13, light source and electrical supporting: A, sodium lamp without American and European standards of the points; B. metal halide lamps below 150W do not distinguish between American and European standards. They use the same electrical component as sodium lamps. C. The 250W and 400W metal halide lamps are divided into American standard and European standard, and wiring and matching of electric light source are strictly in accordance with requirements;
14. Installation of waterproof joint: all lamps and lanterns with waterproof joint must tighten the waterproof joint, and if necessary, make glass glue or silica gel in the thread entry hole of the waterproof joint;
15. Protection level: IPXX stands for dustproof and waterproof. The first X stands for dustproof and the second for waterproof. The specific definitions are explained in the product catalog.
