The protection rating system is drafted by IEC (INTERNATIONAL ELECTROTECHNICAL COMMISSION), which classifies electrical appliances according to their characteristics of dust and moisture resistance. Do not touch the live parts of electrical appliances, including tools and fingers, to avoid electric shock. IP is the abbreviation for INGRESS PROTECTION, and XY is the two digits representing the PROTECTION level. The first number X indicates the range of dust resistance of the equipment and represents the level of preventing solid foreign bodies from entering. The highest level is 6. The second number Y indicates the degree of waterproofing of the equipment, representing the level of water prevention. The larger the number, the higher the protection level is, and the highest level is 8.
The first number X represents the dust prevention level:
0: no protection, no special protection for people or things outside
1: to prevent the invasion of solid with a diameter of 50mm and larger, to prevent the human body (such as the palm) from accidentally touching the parts inside the electrical appliances, to prevent the invasion of external objects with a larger size (diameter greater than 50mm);

The second number Y represents the waterproof grade:
0: no protection, no special protection against water or moisture;
